Founder of Panazea
Systems architect and SAP technical expert
Panazea’s founder is Rubén Rollano Carcajona, a person with an analytical mind that made him lean towards studying mathematics and become passionate about high competition chess. However, it was a passion for programming that made him start a career in SAP consultancy services.
His hunger for knowledge, his curiosity and talent for self-learning have given him an excellent command of the entire universe of SAP products as well as the business fabric that underpins them.
Although he has a solid knowledge-base of the business process, Rubén’s profile is eminently technical, being a recognized full stack developer, Workflow consultant, BW and systems consultant.
He has taken a leap forward to the front-end development of FIORI applications, embracing all the philosophy that this brings with it, such as the value of the user experience, the agile methodology, digitalization and the acceleration of processes.
After a rewarding career of 15 years in all types of companies, business sectors, SAP products, posts and different technologies, the time came to capitalize on all this knowledge. And with all the energy and excitement possible, he founded the company Panazea Software. The objective was to give a breath of fresh air to the consultancy sector, an exhilarating and refreshing touch, from the perspective of those who enjoy their work, possess talent and the dedication to make it a success.

“During 15 years in the consultancy sector in large companies and SMEs, I have taken part in all types of projects (implementations, bespoke developments, migrations, upgrades, roll-outs, etc.).
I started as a programmer in a consultancy and, for seven years, I learned the ins and outs of APAB and the NetWeaver stack in depth, along with the conventional SAP architectures. Soon I started to take on responsibilities as team manager and discovered another facet that I loved: Teamwork and motivation. We started a scrum without knowing what it was…
Then I spent six years working freelance on international projects covering a large variety of SAP products and technologies. Here, I learned in-depth about the workings of large companies, budgeting and handling costs, the relationship between departments and the interaction between IT and business.
Over the next two years, I managed the development department of a large international company, taking charge of a large and varied development team with which to cover all types of projects, largely on the SAP Business Suite, such as the leap to the intelligent company with SAP Cloud Platform as its cornerstone. The management of suppliers and budgets, the recruitment of highly-specialized profiles and the management of contracts gave me a valuable viewpoint of how businesses with SAP work.
Currently, I run the Panazea Software company and collaborate as a full stack FIORI developer and SAP Cloud Platform architect in digitalization and process acceleration projects.”
